2014 Summer Flounder: Bill (Bucktail Willie) Shillingford is a member of the NJ Summer Flounder Advisory Board and he briefed the members on the 2014 Flounder Season. The short answer is we can expect a reduced flounder allocation but we won’t know actual dates and bag limits until late March at the earliest. Bill mentioned there was a continuing effort to “regionalize” the regulations for NY, Conn. & NJ which would have a negative impact on NJ anglers. The next Advisory Board meeting is in late Nov. and he promised to report any progress.
The Last Cast Tournament: Nov. 29th & 30th. As the name implies this is your last opportunity to show your stuff. All the info is below (and attached), there is sure to be lots of fun involved. More information here.
The December 7th (Remember) meeting: A combination of the meeting, election of 2014 officers and a Christmas party. Chef’s Ed and Bud promise a culinary delight, that and refreshments and good company. You don’t want to miss this.
Late Breaking News: In response to the Club’s request Upper Township has returned a trash and recycle can to each of the street ends in town. Thanks Randy!
One nice thing about egotists: they don’t talk about other people.
