The April 16th meeting was launched with the flag salute led by President Bud Lyon. About thirty members were in attendance, including Board members.
Artificial Reefs: It was reported that the Board of Trustees voted unanimously to lift a moratorium and to resume funding the New Jersey artificial reef program. In 2008, the Club placed a moratorium on funding the New Jersey Reef Association because of commercial pots being used on recreational areas. A letter has been sent to legislators LoBiondo, Drew, Albano, and Milam requesting the placement of material from bridge projects on our region’s artificial reefs.
New BBQ Grill: Rob Coffey reported that the Club has purchased a Weber grill; it will be delivered to the firehouse where it will remain. It will be available for use by the Fire Company and the Club.
