Our summer tournament season once again got off to a great start with the Herb Hollinger Sr. Opening Day Flounder Tournament, held Saturday, May 7. Herb Sr. presented the awards at the Firehouse. We would like to thank all those who participated – especially the young folk – and made this a great tournament.
Special thanks to Herb Jr. for putting this event together, Rich Hollinger for hot dog preparation and Debbe Starr for handling the weigh-ins. Also, Frank and Candy Jankowski for hosting the weigh-ins and the Strathmere Volunteer Fire Company for hosting the awards and dinner.
Here Herb Jr., along with Rich, introduce their Dad, for whom the tournament is named.
