This year’s Annual Striper Tournament began, as always, on March 1, and ends on New Year’s Eve.
It’s an honor system tournament, for members only. Catches are recorded on the Striper Board at the Whale Creek Marina, or may be submitted to sfec@comcast.net (please include a picture, if possible). Only length (not weight) need be recorded so that fishermen can release the fish if they choose.
The winners are presented with plaques at the Winter Social.
This year, there was a new twist: the first keeper-size bass caught by a Club member will receive a $100 gift certificate.
CONGRATULATIONS to Dick Omrod
who claimed the first keeper of the season!
Good Luck!
