The December 15 Club Meeting: Following the Pledge of Allegiance Vice President Rob Coffey outlined the recommendations of the Board of Trustees concerning donations to those effected by Hurricane Sandy. The Board suggested that the Club donate $500 each to the local businesses that supported our activities in past years. They are Whale Creek marina, Corson’s Inlet Marina, Twisties, Frank’s and the Deauville. All suffered significant damage by the storm.
In addition the Board recommended a $500 donation to the Strathmere United Relief Fund (SURF). The two measures were put to a vote and approved unanimously by the members.

Following the meeting all enjoyed a tasty selection of gourmet delights by Chefs Ed & Louise (Andress).
Striper Board:
The Striper Board will be stored for the winter by the end of the week. You can record your catch by e-mail (sfec@comcast.net) or by calling Randy at 609 970 2362. Your catch will be recorded on our web-site.
Save the Date – The Winter Social:
Will be held on February 23, six to ten PM, at the Deauville. The price is $45 per person which includes buffet, refreshments and live music. Contact Debbe Starr (609-390-4718) for info and tickets. Make Debbe happy, call early!
