On Saturday afternoon, October 8, as part of the SFEC’s “Environmental Month”, the Club sponsored a presentation on “The Osprey”, by Ben Wurtz of the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey (an organization dedicated to conserving and protecting New Jersey’s endangered and threatened wildlife).

Ben explained that, “While ospreys mate for life, they take separate vacations”, spending the winters apart…

In appreciation for sharing his knowledge and experience with us, SFEC President Bud Lyon presented Ben with a check for the Foundation.
